Frequently Asked Question
Some questions that are frequently asked by clients before we start the process. If you can't find your question feel free to ask it!
How does the design process work once I book a consultation?
After booking, we start with a discovery call to understand your space, style, and budget. From there, our team moves through concept design, sourcing, and execution, keeping you involved with clear check-ins at every stage.
How long does a typical project take?
Timelines vary by scope. A single room refresh can take 4 to 6 weeks, while a full home renovation typically runs 4 to 9 months depending on structural work, permits, and sourcing lead times.
Do you work with clients outside your home city?
Yes, DesignEnd has completed projects across multiple cities and countries. Most of our process, from concept to sourcing, can be managed remotely, with site visits scheduled at key milestones.
What's included in your design fee?
Our fee covers concept development, spatial planning, 3D renders, material selection, and project management through to final styling. Furniture, materials, and contractor costs are quoted separately based on your selections.
Can I use my own furniture or contractors?
Absolutely. We're happy to incorporate existing pieces you love into the new design, and can collaborate with your preferred contractors if you already have a trusted team in place.
What happens if I'm not happy with the initial concept?
We build feedback rounds directly into the concept phase, so revisions are expected, not exceptional. We'll keep refining layouts, materials, and direction until the design genuinely feels right to you.
